A week or so ago Len Goodman (of strictly come dancing fame) took Esther Rantzen (TV presenter and journalist) on a trip down memory lane, back to one of her favorite childhood holiday destinations - The Isle of Wight.
From crabbing on one of our many beautiful beaches, to breathtaking chairlift rides down cliffs of golden sand, the Isle of Wight in many ways is a timeless destination. However it also shows that it has come a long way from 'those days' too and there is a lot more (away from the bucket and spade brigade) that one can do and enjoy.
If you missed the episode, and you fancy a trip down memory lane your self then you can watch Episode 2 on BBC iPlayer.
Newspapers are calling the Island and other seaside resorts - 'Paradise...in an age before EasyJet', and this year there is a big trend emerging in ' Staycations'. As you will see the Isle of Wight is a paradise island, and is reachable within 2 hours from London with a lot less stress and add on's that EasyJet too!
Why not make new memories and magic moments - We have availability all year round and at the moment we have 25% off breaks at The Dairyman's Cottage.
