We at Tapnell Farm love to spend as much time getting out there and appreciating the Island for all it is worth. We have a large group of friends so finding places to entertain ourselves, has become our specialty.

From beautiful beach picnics and rural pub crawls to adventure activities and Go Karting, the Island has it all.. you just need to know where to look

Isle of Wight Adventure Activities:

Based at Tapnell Farm, the beauty of spending the day with these guys is that no matter the size of the group, or who's into what,  there is something for everyone to do. You just need to plan ahead...

We love paddle boarding, kayacking and coasteering (us Islanders love the sea!) but you may fancy doing something on dry land - you could try your aim at Archery or why not whiz down a hill on a mountain board? All abilities are welcome, and their qualified instructors are always at hand to put you at ease.

Isle of Wight Adventure Activities are 'just down the road' from us, a 5 minute drive away. Before you arrive why not visit their website and organise to do a few activities, get your heart pumping and enjoy the great outdoors!

Clay Pigeon Shooting

Tucked away at the edge of Tapnell Farm is an exciting new Clay Pigeon Shooting and Rifle Range facility, operated by Top Targets.

Top Targets can cater for individuals, private and corporate groups, and stag and hen parties, and their facility is suitable for anyone ages 10 and up. With over 70 years of combined experience in shooting, Top Targets have a great understanding of introducing beginners to the sport, so shooters of all ages and abilities are welcomed!

Why not head to Compton Bay or up to Tennyson Downs for a Picnic or BBQ. In our Guide to Tapnell Farm we have recommended several local farm shops and Deli's, great for picking up some delicious local produce to make a picnic. The Isle of Wight has some great food producers including Isle of Wight Cheese , Calbourne Classics, and The Tomato Stall (their oak roasted tomato's are soo addictive!)
